- Sridevi is considered as first female superstar of Indian film Industry.
- She was born on 1963 in Meenampatti village, some 15 kms from Sivakasi, the famous Cracker and Matchbox town,Virudhunagar district in the heart of Tamil Nadu but moved to Chennai (then Madras) when she was around 4 years.
- Sridevi started her career as a child artist at the age of four in the movie Thunaivan(1969).
